AQA Combined Science revision and progress tracking

Grade 9 Science gives every Year 10 and 11 pupil revision for all 87 AQA Combined Science topics. Your teachers get live data on who's revising, which questions they're getting wrong and who needs intervention.

The demo needs no sign-up: it's a full school of made-up pupils on the real teacher dashboard.

Everything a science teacher needs, already built

No setting up question banks or marking. Pupils revise, and the data appears on your dashboard.

Every pupil's progress in one table

  • Quiz scores per pupil across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Each class's weakest topics, worked out for you
  • Heatmap view, last-active dates and a 12-week progress chart per pupil
  • Export the class to CSV in one click

The exact questions your class gets wrong

  • Filter by class, year group or the whole school, and by topic and time
  • Shows the questions most often wrong and most often skipped, with the answer
  • Counts each pupil's latest answer, so a gap disappears once they've fixed it
  • Shows which pupils got it wrong, ready for your next starter or reteach

Homework that marks itself

  • Set any topic's quiz to a class with a due date in under a minute
  • Pupils see it on their hub; you see who's done it and their first-try score
  • Quiz homework only, so it can't be ticked off without being tried
  • No marking, no chasing paper, no lost exercise books

Retrieval starters in two clicks

  • Pick the subject, paper, topics and tier, then put it on the board
  • Click-to-reveal answers, a built-in timer and optional names from your class
  • Printable question and answer worksheets for every topic

Your own topics

Write your own flashcards and quizzes, such as required practicals or equations. Pupils' results show up like any other topic.

Joining with a class code

Pupils sign up with their school email and your school's code. No spreadsheets of passwords to manage.

Year groups move up by themselves

Every pupil's year moves up automatically each August, and Year 11 leavers drop off your lists.

Foundation and Higher

Questions are tagged by tier, so Foundation pupils aren't tested on Higher-only content.

The whole department on one page

Compare every class and teacher, see which subjects and topics are weakest across the year group, and get an intervention list without asking anyone for a spreadsheet.

  • Class comparison: activity, quizzes per pupil, average score, trend and homework completion
  • Subject heatmap: each class's Biology, Chemistry and Physics, by paper
  • Weakest topics across the whole department
  • Pupils needing attention, exported to CSV for intervention
  • Print-ready report for SLT and line management meetings

Revision pupils actually do

Short, focused and on their phone. Every topic has flashcards to learn it and a quiz to prove it.

Flashcards being flipped and self-marked on a phone

Flashcards for all 87 topics

Pupils flip, self-mark and drill only the cards they missed.

Quizzes that test understanding

Multiple choice, fill in the blank and select-all questions, with wrong answers written to catch common misconceptions.

Mixed practice

Quick-fire questions from across the course, for interleaved retrieval.

Homework and progress on one hub

Pupils see what's due, how they're doing on every topic, and what to revise next.

Built to keep pupil data to a minimum

We know your data protection lead will ask. Here's what we store and what we don't.

Questions schools ask

Which specification does it cover?

AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy, all 87 topics across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Questions are tagged Foundation or Higher so each pupil is tested at the right tier.

How do pupils get access?

Each school gets a join code. Pupils sign up with their school email and the code, and they're in your school straight away with full access. Teachers then add them to classes.

Do teachers need training?

Not really. If you can use a spreadsheet, you can use the dashboard. Try the demo school to see for yourself. We're happy to run a short walkthrough for your department too.

Can we add our own content?

Yes. Teachers can write their own flashcard and quiz topics, such as required practicals, equations or anything from your scheme of work. Pupils' results show on the dashboards like any other topic.

How is it paid for?

One yearly invoice of £950 for the department, which can go through your school's purchase order process. There are no per-pupil or per-teacher charges.

Can we see it before we buy?

Yes. The demo school has the full teacher dashboard with made-up pupils, and there's a Head of Science demo too. If you'd like to see it with your own pupils, get in touch.
